Terms and conditions
Programme period: 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027
Retailer: Incredible Connection / Pepkor Lifestyle, South Africa
Sponsor: Rapoo
Draft for review by Rapoo and Incredible Connection before publication. Items marked [confirm] need a decision or a name before this goes out.
1. Who can take part
1.1 Permanent and contract sales staff employed at a participating Incredible Connection store in South Africa.
1.2 A store participates if it appears in the programme's store grid. 75 stores participate: 21 in Grid A, 20 in Grid B, 34 in Grid C.
1.3 The following do not participate:
- Incredible Connection E-Commerce (I207). Online sales cannot be attributed to a salesperson.
- Incredible Connection Business to Business (I214). Not floor-staff attributable.
- All Incredible Cellular format stores.
- Stores outside South Africa: Namibia (The Grove, Windhoek, Dunes Mall), Botswana (Gaborone, Airport Junction) and Lesotho (Maseru).
1.4 Training is a condition of entry. No tickets or prizes accrue to a participant until their Rapoo product training is recorded as complete via Axonify or Siyafunda. Sales made before completion are recorded but earn nothing, and are not credited retrospectively.
1.5 Employees of Rapoo, Fuzz Digital, and the appointed external auditor, and their immediate families, may not win a prize.
2. How tickets are earned
2.1 Every qualifying unit sold earns a set number of tickets. The number is fixed per product by the Rapoo incentive points table and ranges from 1 to 5 tickets per unit.
2.2 Tickets are earned per unit, not per rand. Selling three units of a two-ticket product earns six tickets, whatever the sale value.
2.3 The points table is the complete list of qualifying products. A product that is not on the table on the day of sale earns nothing. Products may be added to or removed from the table during the programme, and ticket values may change.
2.4 Changes are never backdated. A sale is valued against the points table in force on the date of that sale. A product whose ticket value rises on 3 November earns the old value on 2 November and the new value on 3 November.
2.5 Returned, cancelled and refunded items earn nothing. Where an item has already earned tickets and is later returned, those tickets are reversed by a visible correcting entry.
2.6 Tickets, once issued, are not transferable and have no cash value.
3. Store grids
3.1 Stores are grouped into three grids, A, B and C, reflecting store size and footfall.
3.2 Participants compete only within their own grid. Every leaderboard, every draw and every prize other than the grand prize is decided within a grid. A Grid C participant is never ranked against a Grid A participant.
3.3 The grand prize draw pools all grids.
3.4 Grid allocation is set by Incredible Connection. A store opening during the programme earns nothing until it has been allocated a grid, and earns from the allocation date forward only. A store closing during the programme keeps every ticket already earned by its staff, and stops earning from its closing date.
4. Prizes
4.1 Monthly prize draw, per grid
Three cash prizes are drawn in each grid each month:
| Place | Prize |
|---|---|
| First | R5 000 |
| Second | R3 000 |
| Third | R2 000 |
Every ticket earned is one entry, so a participant holding seven tickets has seven entries. A participant who wins first place is removed from the pool before second and third are drawn, so nobody wins more than one cash prize in the same month and grid.
4.2 Top salesperson, per grid
R3 000 per grid per month.
- In the first month, October 2026, this is awarded on total qualifying sales value.
- From November 2026 onward it is awarded on growth in qualifying sales value, measured against the participant's own average across all previous completed programme months.
4.3 Top store, per grid
A R5 000 Uber Eats voucher per grid per month, on the same sales-then-growth basis as 4.2, measured at store level. [confirm] how the voucher is shared among a winning store's staff.
4.4 Grand prize
A Suzuki Swift, drawn once at the end of the programme from every ticket earned across the whole six months, all grids pooled. Tickets already earned by staff at a store that has since closed remain in this draw.
The grand prize draw is conducted by an independent external financial auditor. [confirm] auditor name.
[confirm] the following, which are the sponsor's to state, not the data pipeline's: vehicle model, derivative and colour; on-the-road costs, licensing and registration; delivery arrangements; whether the vehicle is supplied new; and the treatment of any cash-alternative request.
5. How growth is measured
5.1 Growth is measured on qualifying sales value in rand. It is not measured on tickets, units, or gross margin.
5.2 The comparison figure is the participant's or store's average across all previous completed programme months:
| Month | Compared against |
|---|---|
| October 2026 | no comparison, ranked on sales value |
| November 2026 | average of October |
| December 2026 | average of October and November |
| January 2027 | average of October to December |
| February 2027 | average of October to January |
| March 2027 | average of October to February |
5.3 Only qualifying sales count toward growth: sales at a participating store, by a participant who has completed training, of a product on the points table on the day of sale.
5.4 Once a month is closed its figures are final. Sales data arriving after a month has closed does not change that month's result and does not reopen a completed draw. Such sales still earn tickets, which count toward the grand prize and enter the next monthly draw.
6. Spivs
6.1 Spivs are administered by your store and are separate from this programme. They do not affect tickets, the leaderboard or any prize in section 4, and this programme does not calculate, record or publish them. Raise any spiv query with your store manager.
7. Results, records and disputes
7.1 Results are published on the programme leaderboard, which shows a participant's name, surname, store and performance. It shows nothing else about a participant.
7.2 Participants may look up their own figures using their employee number and surname. A participant's own page shows only that participant's sales, tickets, rank, draw odds, milestones and training status. The draw odds are the participant's own tickets measured against the total tickets in their grid for the month. The page shows no other participant's individual figures.
7.3 Participants should be aware that the leaderboard is public and that an employee number alone is enough to look up a page. Nothing on that page goes beyond what the public leaderboard already shows, plus that participant's own sales.
The leaderboard also publishes a store page for every participating store, open to anyone with the link. It shows store-level figures only: the store's qualifying sales value for the month, its growth against its own baseline, its rank within its grid, its total tickets, and how many of its staff have completed training, alongside the same measures for the leading stores in its grid. It shows no individual participant's sales or tickets.
No contact details, payroll records or any store financial information beyond the qualifying sales figures described above are accessible through the leaderboard, a participant's page or a store page.
7.4 Every ticket issued is recorded in a permanent, append-only ledger. Entries cannot be edited or deleted. Errors are fixed by adding a visible correcting entry, never by changing the original. The ledger is cryptographically chained so that any alteration is detectable, and it is extracted nightly for the auditor.
7.5 The leaderboard is updated weekly and carries the date and time it was last updated.
7.6 Queries about tickets or results should be raised with the store manager in the first instance, within [confirm: 14?] days of the figures being published. Rapoo's decision, supported by the ticket ledger and the auditor's records, is final.
7.7 Data is processed for the purposes of running this programme, in accordance with POPIA. The programme holds employee number, name, surname, store, training completion, and sales and ticket records. [confirm] retention period and the responsible party for POPIA purposes.
8. General
8.1 Rapoo may amend these terms, the points table and the prize structure during the programme. Changes take effect from the date they are published and are never applied retrospectively.
8.2 Rapoo may disqualify a participant for conduct intended to manipulate the programme, including fictitious sales, sales processed under another participant's employee number, and sales processed with the intention of subsequent return.
8.3 Where a monthly draw has fewer eligible entrants in a grid than prizes available, only the available places are awarded.
8.4 Rapoo may suspend or end the programme if circumstances outside its reasonable control make continuing impractical. Tickets already earned will be honoured in a final draw.
8.5 These terms are governed by South African law.
